Solve for equation x+y=1,3x+2y=6

Answer:

x+y=1

x=1-y .......(i)

put the value of equation (i) in

3x +2y =6

3(1-y)+3y=6

3+3y+3y=6

3+6y=6

6y=6-3

6y=3

y=3/6

y=1/2

x+y=1

x+1/2=1

2x+1=2

2x=2-1

2x=1

x=1/2 and y =1/2 ans
