Solve for shaded area. Given, ABCD is a square with side 10cm.APD and CPD are the semicircle and ADQB is a quarter circle.

Given,

Square of ABCD , AB=CD=AD=BC=10cm

Semicircle of radius,r=10/2

=5cm

.:shaded area=area of ABCD-2×{Area of semicircle}

=Side²-2×1/2×pi .r²

=(10)²-22/7×5²

=100-550/7

=700-550/7

=150/7

=21.42cm²
