What you have to do is this:

take equ 1= x + y - 8/2

take equ 2= x + 2y  - 14/3

take equ 3= 3x + y - 12/11

 

now,

 equ1 = equ 2= equ3

now simplify equ1= equ2

that is:  x + y - 8/2 = x + 2y -14/3

from this you will get equ 4

 

now simplyfy equ 2 = equ 3

that is:  x + 2y - 14/3 = 3x + y -12/11

from this you will get equ 5

 

now, solve equ 4 & equ 5 by elimination method to get value of X and Y.
