LET 4X +9Y=5 BE EQUATION 1

AND 3X-5Y=39 BE EQUATION 2

THEREFORE, MULTIPLYING EQUATION 1 BY 5 AND EQUATION 2 BY 9 AND ADDING BOTH EQUATIONS

HENCE, 20X+45Y=25

27X-45Y=351

BY SOLVING WE GET:-

47X=376

THEREFORE, X=8

putting value of x in equation 1

4(8)+9y=5

32+9y=5

9y=(-27)

Y=(-3)

VALUE OF X IS 8 AND Y IS (-3)
