The sum of first 10 positive even numbers

EVALUATION

The first 10 positive even numbers are

2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , . . . . , 20

This is an arithmetic progression

First term = a = 2

Common Difference = d = 2

Number of terms = 10

Hence the required sum
