cos3∅ (2sin 2∅ - 1) = 0

2sin 2∅ - 1 = 0

2sin 2∅ = 1

sin 2∅ = 1/2

We know that sin60° = 1/2

sin 2∅ = sin 60°

2∅ = 60°

∅ = 30°

So, the acute angle in 30°.
