solve for u and v: 2u +3v =uv and 3u -4v =2uv . Its a maths sum

Answer:

2u + 3v = 1 -- eq.1

3u - 4v = 2 - eq.2

Multiply eq.1 by 3 and eq.2 by 2 and Subtract

6u + 9v = 3

6u - 8v = 2

17v = 1

v = 17

Putting the value of v in eq. 1

2u + 3v = 1

2u + 3*17= 1

2u + 51 = 1

2u = 51 - 1

2u = 50

u = 50/2

u = 25

Hence, u = 25 and v = 17
