 \frac{1}{a} +  \frac{1}{b}  +  \frac{1}{x} =  \frac{1}{a}  + b + x

 \frac{1}{a} \: will \: cancel

 \frac{1}{b} +  \frac{1}{x} = b + x

b -  \frac{1}{b} + x -\frac{1}{x} = 0

 \frac{1}{b} +  \frac{1}{x} = 0

 \frac{x + b}{bx}  = 0

x + b = 0 \times bx

x + b = 0

x =  - b

Answer:

 \frac{1}{a}  +  \frac{1}{b}  +  \frac{1}{x}  =  \frac{1}{a}  + b + x

 =  > b -  \frac{1}{b}  + x -  \frac{1}{x}  = 0

 =  >  \frac{1}{b}  +  \frac{1}{x}  = 0

 =  >  \frac{x + b}{bx}  = 0 =  > x + b = 0 =  > x =  - b
