x-1=3/4(x+1)+1/2
opening the bracket
x-1=3x/4+3/4+1/2
now, taking the L. C.M
x-1=(3x+3+2)/4
x-1=(3x+5)/4
bringing 4 to left hand side of the equation
4(x-1)= 3x+5
4x-4=3x+5
x=5+4
x=9
opening the bracket
x-1=3x/4+3/4+1/2
now, taking the L. C.M
x-1=(3x+3+2)/4
x-1=(3x+5)/4
bringing 4 to left hand side of the equation
4(x-1)= 3x+5
4x-4=3x+5
x=5+4
x=9
