\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}}

\tt{\rightarrow\dfrac{1}{x-2}+\dfrac{1}{x-4}=\dfrac{4}{3}}

\tt{\rightarrow\dfrac{(x-4)+(x-2)}{(x-2)(x-4)}=\dfrac{4}{3}}

\tt{\rightarrow\dfrac{2x-6}{x^2-6x+8}=\dfrac{4}{3}}

6x - 18 = 4x² - 24x + 32

4x² - 30x + 50 = 0

2x² - 15x + 25 = 0

2x² - 10x - 5x + 25 = 0

2x(x - 5) - 5(x - 5) = 0

(2x - 5)(x - 5) = 0

2x - 5 = 0

x - 5 = 0

Hence,

\tt{\rightarrow x =\dfrac{5}{2}\;or\;x=5}
