Answer:

15x-60-5x+45-7x-28=15

15x-5x-7x-60+45-28=15

15x-12x-88+45=15

3x-43=15

3x=15+43

x=58/3

hope it helps

Explanation:

Given Equation:

15 (x-4) -5 (x-9) -7 (x+4) = 15

To find:

The value of x

STEP 1: Multiply the value into the bracket

==> Multiply 15 into the first bracket

==> (15x-60)- 5 (x-9) -7 (x+4) = 15

==> Multiply -5 into the second  bracket

==> (15x-60) + (- 5x + 45) -7 (x+4) = 15

==>  Multiply -7 into the Third  bracket

==> (15x-60) + (- 5x + 45)+( -7x-32) = 15

STEP 2: seperate x cofficient and constan

==>  Remove the brackets

==> (15x-60) + (- 5x + 45)+( -7x-32) = 15

==>  15x -60 -5x +45 -7x -32 =15

==> Seperate the constant and x coefficient

==> 15x-5x-7x-60+45-32 =15

==> 10x-7x-60+45-32 =15

==> 3x-15-32 =15

==>  3x-47 =15

STEP 3 : Solve the equation to find x

==> 3x = 15 +47

==> 3x= 62

==> x =62/3

==> x = 20.66
