Solve the Brackets first according to BODMAS.
x - 3(5x-7) + 2(9x-11) = -111

x - 15x - 21 + 18x-22 = -111

Arrange the Like Terms Together…..
x-15x+18x-21-22 = -111

Now Solve……
-14x + 18x - 43 = -111

4x - 43 = -111

Transposing -43 to the L.H.S. :
4x = -111 + 43
4x = -68
x = - 68/4
x = - 17
