Hey friend,
Here is the answer
 \frac{3x - 5}{4x + 6} = \frac{ - 2}{3} \\ on \: cross \: multiplying \: we \: get \\ \\ 3(3x - 5) = - 2(4x + 6) \\ \\ = 9x - 15 = - 8x + 12 \\ \\ 9x + 8x = 12 + 15 \\ \\ 17x = 27 \\ \\ x = \frac{27}{17} \\ \\ in \: decimal \\ x = 1.58 \: (approx)

Hope this helps!!!!
