Answer:

x = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

 { (\frac{4}{7} )}^{3}  \div  {( \frac{7}{4} )}^{5}  =  {( \frac{4}{7}) }^{x  - 2}

 { (\frac{4}{7} )}^{3}  \div  {( \frac{4}{7}) }^{ - 5}  =  { (\frac{4}{7} )}^{x - 2}

 {a}^{n}  \div  {a}^{m}  =  {a}^{n - m}

therefore

 { (\frac{4}{7}) }^{3 - ( - 5)}  =  { (\frac{4}{7} )}^{x - 2}  \\  { (\frac{4}{7}) }^{8}  =  {( \frac{4}{7} )}^{x - 2}

since,

 {a}^{m}  =  {a}^{n}  \\ m = n

therefore

8 = x - 2 \\ x = 10
