\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

\sf \longmapsto \dfrac{4x - 4}{2x + 4}  =  \dfrac{3}{2}

Now,cross multiply to both sides :

\sf \longmapsto2(4x - 4) = 3(2x + 4)

\sf \longmapsto8x - 8 = 6x + 12

Now, rearranging the terms and making like terms together:

=>Moving 6x towards left side and -8 towards right side note sign will change.

\sf \longmapsto8x - 6x = 12 + 8

\sf \longmapsto2x = 20

\sf \longmapsto \: x =  \dfrac{20}{2}  = 10

 \sf \bold{x = 10}

Check:

\sf \longmapsto \dfrac{4x - 4}{2x + 4}  =  \dfrac{3}{2}

\sf \longmapsto \dfrac{4 \times 10 - 4}{2 \times 10 + 4}

\sf \longmapsto \dfrac{40 - 4}{20 + 4}

\sf \longmapsto \dfrac{ \cancel{{36}}}{ \cancel{24}}  =  \dfrac{ \cancel{{9}}}{ \cancel{{6}}}  =  \dfrac{3}{2}
