Given :  5-3x : 5x+7 = 1 : 125

To Find : Solve for x

Solution:

5-3x : 5x+7 = 1 : 125

=> ( 5 - 3x)/(5x + 7)  = 1/125

Cross multiply

=> 125 (5 - 3x)    = 1(5x + 7)

=> 625 - 375x  = 5x  + 7

=> 625 - 7  = 5x + 375x

=> 618 = 380x

=> x = 618/380

=> x = 309/190
