20x + 15 = 3x - 6
20x-3x = -6-15
17x = -21
x = -21/17
x = -1.23
20x + 15 = 3x - 6
20x-3x = -6-15
17x = -21
x = -21/17
x = -1.23

its 20x-3x = -6-15 because 15 was positive in the left hand side so if you take it to left hand side it becomes negative
