Given,

5^{2x+1} =5^{3} \times625

From above 625 can be written as 5^{4}

5^{2x+1} =5^{3} \times 5^{4}

In 5^{3} \times5^{4}, the bases are equal the powers should be added.

a^{m}\times a^{n} =a^{m+n}

We get,

5^{2x+1} =5^{3+4}

5^{2x+1} =5^{7}

As we know the bases are equal powers should be equated.

We get

2x+1=7

2x=7-1

2x=6

x=3

Therefore, the value of x is 3
