5x-2(x-3) = -9+5x+5

it is a quadratic equation. firstly we have multiplied 2(x-3) . then you know how to solve a simple equation. this is what I have done

5x-2x+6=-9+5x+5

5x-2x+6=-4+5x

3x+6=-4+5x

3x-5x=-4-6

-2x=-10

x=-10/-2

x=5
