for the second equation we get

x=200-y

now by putting it in first equation we get

=2 (200-y)-y=100

=400-2y-y=100

=-3y=-300

=::y=100

x+y=200_ eq2

by adding eq 1 and 2

we get 3x=300

x=300/3

x=100

substitute in eq 1

2(100)-y=100

200-y=100

200-100=y

100=y
