3x + 0.2y = 12.4

Subtracting both
we get 0.6y = 1.2 => y = 1.2/0.6 = 2
and putting y in eqn 1 we get 1.5x = 6.2 - 0.2
1.5x = 6 => x = 4 So solution of your question is x = 4 and y = 2
