Solve for x and y: (1) x – y = 2
3x + 2y =16​

Answer:

x-y=2

X= 2+y....(I)

3x+2y = 16...(ii)

put (I) in ii)..

now..

3(2+y)+ 2y= 16

6+ 3y+ 2y=16

5y= 10

y=2..

and

put y= 2 in eqn.(I)

now.

X=4
