Hey dear here is your answer.....

You can solve it by elimination of substitution method ..!!!!

I will solve it by substitution :-

12x+y=8
y=8-12x ...eq.(1)

2x+3y=-10 ......eq(2)

substitute the value of y from eq.(1) to eq.(2)

2x+3(8-12x)=-10
2x+24-36x=-10
-34x=-34
x=1.....eq.(3)

substitute the value of eq(1) into (2)eq.
y=8-12(1)
y=-4

So the value of x =2
and the value of y =-4

hope it may help u dear !!!!

12x+y=8 ----(1) × 1
2x+3y=-10 ---(2) × 6

12x+y =8
12x+18y =-60
- - +
_____________
0-17y=52
y=-52/17

and from no 1 equation we get that.....
12x+y=8
=>12x=8+52/7
=> 12x = (56+52)/7
=> 12x =108/7
=>x=108/84
