60x + 225 = 1080
subtracting
- 209 y = -836
y = -836 /209
y = 4
now put the value of y in any equation to find the value of x
equation
15x + 4[4] = 61
15x + 16 = 61
15x = 61 - 16
15x = 45
x + 45/15
x = 9
