Answer:

equations are

2x-3Y=7

X+Y=1

Answer:

according to question :-

2x-3y = 7 (equation 1)

x+y = 1 (equation 2)

now equation 2 *2

2(x+y = 1)

2x+2y = 2 (equation 3)

now subtracting equation 3 from 1:-

(2x-3y) - (2x+2y) = 7-2

2x-3y-2x-2y = 5

-5y = 5

y = 5/-5 = -1

now putting value of y in equation 2:-

x+y = 1

x+(-1) = 1

x-1 = 1

x = 1+1 = 2

so x = 2

y = -1
