solve for x and y 3x+2y=5,9x-6y=3​

  • 3x + 2y = 5 ...........(1)
  • 9x - 6y = 3 ............(2)

★ Dividing equation (2) by 3 throughout we get,

  • 3x - 2y = 1 .........(3)

★ Adding equation (1) and (3)

3x + 2y = 5

3x - 2y = 1

6x = 6

------------------

=> x = 1

★ Put the value of x in (1)

  • 3(1) + 2y = 5

=> 2y = 5 - 3

=> y = 1

x = 1 and y = 1
