Answer:

1st eq. - 6/x+y = 7/x-y+3

2nd eq.- 1/2×(x+y) = 1/3×(x-y)

For1st eq.

6/x+y = 7/x-y+3

6×(x-y+3)/x+y = 7

6x-6y+18 = 7×(x+y)

6x-6y+18 = 7x+7y

6x +18 = 7x+7y+6y

6x+18 = 7x +13y

18 = 7x-6x+13y

18 = x+13y ----------3.

For2nd eq.

1/2×(x+y) = 1/3×(x-y)

1/2x+2y= 1/3x-3y

1×(3x-3y) = 1

3x-3y = 1×(2x+2y)

3x-3y=2x+2y

3x-2x=2y+3y

x=5y. -----------4.

From 3.

18= x+13y

18=5y+13y (x=5y, from. 4.)

18=18y

18/18=y

1=y

From 4.

x=5y

x= 5×1 (y=1)

x=5

Therefore -- x=5. & y=1
