Given : 8√x-15√y=-√xy,10/√x+8/√y=4

To find : Solve for x & y

Solution:

8√x - 15√y  =  -√xy

=> 16√x - 30√y  =  -2√xy

10/√x  +  8/√y  = 4

=> 5/√x  +  4/√y  = 2

Multiplying both sides by √xy

=> 5√y   + 4√x  = 2 √xy

Adding both Equations

20√x - 25√y   = 0

=>20√x = 25√y

=>4√x = 5√y

=> √y = 4√x  /5

5√y   + 4√x  = 2 √xy

=> 4√x  + 4√x  =  2√x √x4/5)

=> 8√x = 8√x√x  /5

=> √x   = 5

=>  x=  25

     y = 16

x = 25  , y  = 16
