Answer:

x = b & y = -a

Step-by-step explanation:

Given system of equations:

...................... (1)

....................(2)

from equation (2), we get

......... (3)

Put, this value of eqn (3) in eqn(1)

Now, Put value of y in eqn (3)

Therefore, x = b & y = -a

Answer:

y = -a; x= b

Step-by-step explanation:

ax/b - by/a = a+b   --->(1)

ax - by = 2ab (given)

so , ax = 2ab+by    ---->(2)

substitute (1) in (2)

u will get 2a^2 +ay-by = a^2+ab

               => a^2 + ay - by -ab =0

               => a(a+y) - b(a+y) =0

               => (a-b)(a+y)=0

               =>  a=b , y= -a/ a=-y

sub a= -y in ax-by = 2ab

 u will get -y(x+b)= 2*-y*b

               => x=2b-b

                   =>   x= b

ur welcome ^_^
