swaminathan007: Wrong
swaminathan007: adding two eqns...
ax+bx+by+ay = a^2 - b^2
x(a+b) + y(a+b) = (a+b) (a-b)
(x+y)(a+b) = (a+b) (a-b)
x+y = a-b
swaminathan007: X=a and y= -b
kushan2: okay
kushan2: bhai wo last step me mene galat equation me X ki value rakh di hn
swaminathan007: Tik hai ko

ax + by = a2 - b2.......(1)
bx + ay = 0..................(2)
_____________
(a-b)x + (b-a)y = a2 - b2 (subtracting 2 from 1)

or,
(a-b)x - (a-b)y = (a+b)(a-b)
or, (a-b)(x-y) = (a+b)(a-b)
or, (x-y) = a + b
or, x = a + b + y...............(3)

b(a+b+y) + ay = 0 (putting the value of x from 3)
or, ab + b2 + by + ay = 0
or, y(a+b) = -b2 - ab
or, y(a+b) = -b(a+b)
or, y = -b

bx - ab = 0
or, bx = ab
or, x = a

Hence, x = a, y = -b
