b* x + a* y  + a* x + b* y = a^2 + 2* (ab) + b^2

 REarrange above equation as,

a* x + a* y + b* x + b* y = a^2 + 2* (ab) + b^2

a* (x+y) + b* (x +y) = a^2 + 2* (ab) + b^2

(a+b)* (x+y) = a^2 + 2* (ab) + b^2

(a+b) * (x+y) = (a+b)^2

x + y = (a+b)

==> x = a+ b - y

==> y = a + b - x
