x=5-y........1

2(5-y)-3y=4

10-2y-3y=4

10-5y=4

y=6/5

and x=5-6/5

=25-6/5

multiply×2with equa. 1,

so, 2x+2y=10---->equ.(3)

Now, subract equ. (2) from(3)

2x+2y=10

2x-3y=4

y=5/6

put the value of y =5/7 in equ. (1)

x+5/6=5

x=5-5/6

x=25/6

so, x= 25/6, y=5/6
