3x+4y=10...... (1)
2x-2y=2........(2)
Let's multiply equation (2) by 2,we get,
4x-4y=4....... (3)
Let's add equation (3) and (1),we get,
3x+4y=10
4x-4y=4
------------
7x=14
x=14/7=2
Substitute x=2 in equation (2),we get,
2x-2y=2
2×2-2y=2
4-2y=2
-2y=2-4
-2y=-2
y=1

Therefore, (x,y)=(2,1) is the solution for the given equation..

plz..matk it as brainliest..if it is useful..

adithya86: I got the Answer x=3 and y=1
ALERTDEVIL: good..
adithya86: because i multiplied the first e.q by 2 and second e.q by 3
adithya86: is this answer right x=3 and y=1 ??
ALERTDEVIL: u dont need to actually multiply both the equation..
ALERTDEVIL: if u multiply both..u will get a wrong answer..
ALERTDEVIL: u r wrong ..x=2
ALERTDEVIL: follow the steps I have done..
adithya86: ok
adithya86: thank u
