solve for X and Y method of elimination 2x- 3y = 7 and 5 x + 2y=10 ​

Answer:

2x-3y=7.....(i)

5x+2y=10....(ii)

Multiply (i) by 2 and (ii) by 3 to get same coefficients of y.

Therefore we get :

4x-6y =14...(iii)

15x + 6y = 30.....(iv)

Adding (iii) and (iv) , we get:

19x=44

Therfore, x= 44/19

and y :

2(44/19) -3y= 7

-3y= 45/19

y= - 45/57
