Solve for X and Y

$x \: - \: y \: = \: 3 \\ \\ 2x \: + \: 3y \: = \: 6$

Answer 1

$x - y = 3.....1$
$2x + 3y = 6.....2$
multiply 1 with 3 we get
$3x - 3y = 9.....3$
adding 2 and 3
we get
$5x = 15 \\ x = \frac{15}{5} \\ x = 3$
Putting x=3 in 1
$3 - y = 3 \\ - y = 3 - 3 \\ y = 0$
