Answer -

x - y = 3 - - - (i)

 \frac{x}{3} + \frac{y}{2} = 6

 \frac{2x + 3y}{6} = 6

2x + 3y = 36 - - - (ii)

Now, multiplying equation (i) by 3, we get-

3x - 3y = 9 \\ 2x + 3y = 36 \\ - - - - - - \\ = > 5x = 45\\ = > x = 9

Substituting value of x in (i),

9 - y = 3 \\ = > y = 6
