11x + 15y = -23 .....(1)                       7x - 2y = 20 ......(2)

in eq.(1)

x = -23-15y/11 .....(3)

put the equation 3 in eq.2

7(-23-15y/11) - 2y = 20

-161-105y/11 - 2y = 20

-161-105y-22y/11 = 20

-161-127y = 220

-161-220 = 127y

y = -3

put the value of y in eq2

11x + 15(-3) = -23

11x-75 = -23

11x = 52

x = 52/11

Step-by-step explanation:

11x+15y+23 =0

11x=-23-15y

x=(-23-15y)÷11-----(eq. 1)

Now,

7x-2y-20=0-----(eq. 2)

Substitute eq. 1 in eq. 2,

7{(-23-15y)÷11}-2y-20=0

{(-161-105y)÷11}-2y-20=0

(-161-105y-22y-220)÷11=0

(-381-127y)÷11=0

-381-127y=0*11

-127y=381

y=-381÷127

Now,

x=(-23-15y)÷11

={-23-15(-381÷127)}÷11

=And so on...

You'll get value of x and y

Best luck...
