so thus then

k/3+y/2=14

so 2k+3y/6=14

ie 2k+3y=84 (2)

so multiplying (1) by 3 and (2) by 5

we get

27k+15y=675 (3)

10k+15y=420 (4)

subtracting (4) from (3)

so k=15

substitute value of k in any of four equations

we get

so resubstititng value of k as 1/x
