Answer:

4x-3y=-4; 4x-3y=20

-6y=16

or,y=16/-6

4x-3y=20

or,4x-3.16/-6 =20

or,-4x=20+64/6

or,-4x=30.6

or,x=30.6+4

or,x=34.6

x=-2.6

y=34.6

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

4x-3y+4=0

4x+3y-20=0

in the form of ax+by+c=0 we get

a1=4   b1=-3   c1=4

a2=4  b2=3   c1=-20

b      x        c         y        a       1        b

-3               4                  4               - 3

3                -20               4                3

on solving we get

x/60-12 =  y/16-(-80)  = 1/12-(-12)

x/48 = y/96 = 1/24

x/48=1/24

x=48/24 =2 so x=2

similarly

y/96=1/24

y=96/24=4 so y=4

hence the value of x is 2 and the value of y is 4

hope this helped you! ;)
