3x-4y-1=0 ------> (1)

2x-8/3y=-5

2x+15y=8 ------> (2)

Finding the value of x,

3x-4y=1

3x=1+4y

x=(1+4y)/3----->(3)

Substituting the value of x in equation (2),

2x+15y=8

2(1+4y)/3+15y=8

2+8y/3+15y=8

2+8y/3 + 3(15y)/3(1)=8

2+8y/3 + 45y/3=8

2+53y/3=8

2+53y/3=8*3

2+53y=24

53y=24-2

y=22/53

Substituting value of y in (3),

x=(1+4y)/3

 = (1+4*22/53)3

 = 1+88/159

 = 89/159

therefore, x=89/159 and y=22/53
