Solve for X and Y:
x/2+2y/3=-1
x-y/3=3

Here is your answer

x/2 + 2y/3 = -1

3x + 4y / 6 = -1

3x + 4y = -6 ......(a)

x - y / 3 = 3

x - y = 9

x = 9 + y .......(b)

substitute (b) in (a)

3(9+y) + 4y = -6

27 + 3y + 4y = -6

27 + 7y + 6 = 0

7y = -33

y = -33/7

substitute y in (a)

3x + 4 *33/7 = -6

21x + 132 = -42

21x = - 42 - 132

21x = -174

x = - 174 /21
