\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\;to\;the\;Question}}}}

x/3 + y/4 = 11 ………..(a)

5x/6 - y/3 = - 7 …………(b)

Now,

From (a) we have :-

(4x + 3y)/12 = 11

4x + 3y = 11 × 12

4x + 3y = 132 ………(c)

From (b) we have :-

(5x - 2y)/6 = - 7

5x - 2y = -7 × 6

5x - 2y = - 42 ………(d)

From (c) we have :-

4x = 132 - 3y

x = (132 - 3y)/4 ………..(e)

Putting the value of x in (d) :-

5x - 2y = - 42

5(132 - 3y)/4 - 2y = - 42

(660 - 15y)/4 - 2y = - 42

660 - 15y - 8y = -42 × 4

660 - 23y = -168

-23y = -168 - 660

-23y = - 828

y = 828/23

y = 36

Now,

Substituting value of y in (e) :-

x = (132 - 3y)/4

x = (132 - 3 × 36)/4

x = (132 - 108)/4

x = 24/4

x = 6

Therefore :-

x = 6 and y = 36
