Solve for "x" and "y": x+y=14& x-y=4​

x+y =14-(1)

x-y = 4 -(2) adding both the equations

2x = 18

x= 9

Substituting x=9 in equation (1)

9+y = 14

y = 14-9

y = 5

x,y =(9,5) is the solution
