hey mate here is your solution..
x + y = 14-------(1)
x - y = 4--------(2)
------------
=>2x = 18( adding both equation)
=> x= 9
Now, putting the value of x in equation (2)
=>9 - y =4
=>y = 9 - 4= 5
So, x = 9 and y= 5 ans...
