=>x = 7-y

Putting x=7-y In 2x-3y=11. we have

2(7-y)-3y= 11

=>14 -2y-3y= 11

=> -5y= 11-14

=> -5y = -3

=> y= -3/-5

=>y= 3/5

then x = 7-y= 7-3/5= 35-3/5= 32/5
