\bold{\boxed{Sølutiøn}}

given \\  \:  \:  \: y - 4x = 1  -  -  - (1) \\ and \:  \:  \: 6x - 5y = 9 -  -  - (2) \\  now \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: (1) =  > y - 4x = 1 \\ =  > x =  \frac{y - 1}{4}  -  -  -  -  - (3) \\  \\  \\

putting the value of x in eq.(2),

6 \times  \frac{y - 1}{4}  - 5y = 9 \\  =  >  \frac{3y - 3}{2}  - 5y = 9 \\  =  >  \frac{3y - 3 - 10y}{2}  = 9 \\  =  >  - 3 - 7y = 18  \\  =  >  - 7y = 18 + 3 \\  =  >  - 7y = 21 \\  =  > y =  - 3

putting the value of y in eq.(3),

x =  \frac{y - 1}{4}  \\  =  \frac{ - 3 - 1}{4}  \\  =  \frac{ - 4}{4}  \\  = - 1

Hence, X=-1

Y=-3
