AvniSahu: thanks for solving but the answer is wrong. answer provided at the back of the book is 15°. we had to find the value of x°
AR17: π/12 is 15° dear
AR17: in place of x i have written theta...
AvniSahu: oh im so sorry, i just started trignometry and im confused
AR17: hope u understood now
AvniSahu: yes, thank you
AR17: yeah its ok... π rad = 180° so π/12 becomes 15°
AvniSahu: Okay

cos^230° +sin^22x=1
(√3/2)^2+sin^22x=1
3/4+sin^22x=1
3+sin^22x=4*1
sin^22x=4-3
sin^22x=1
sin2x=1
sinx=1/2
but sin30°=1/2
sinx=sin30°
x=30°
