  • First step is to take LCM of the given term
  • Then,convert into a single fraction form .
  • After cross multiply to both sides,make variable's terms one side and constant term on the other.
  • Shifts all constant value which are along with Variable to constant side and let the variable single and hence evaluate it to find the variable's value.

  • Here,LCM of 6 & 3 is \sf \pink 6

\sf :\implies \purple{ \dfrac{x}{6}  +  \dfrac{x}{3}  =  \dfrac{2}{3} }\\\\

\sf :\implies  \dfrac{x + 2x}{6}  =  \dfrac{2}{3}\\\\

\sf :\implies  \dfrac{3x}{6}  =  \dfrac{2}{3} \\\\

\sf  :\implies 3x \times 3 = 6 \times 2\\\\

\sf  :\implies 9x = 12\\\\

\sf :\implies  \sf \purple{ x =  \dfrac{12}{9}  =  \dfrac{4}{3}}\\

{  \large{ \underline{ \pmb{ \frak{ Verification: - }}}}}

\sf :\implies  \dfrac{3x}{6}  =  \dfrac{2}{3}\\

Taking LHS

\sf :\implies  \dfrac{3 \times  \dfrac{4}{3} }{6}\\\\

\sf :\implies  \dfrac{4}{6}  =  \purple{\dfrac{2}{3}} \\\\

  • Hence,LHS = RHS(Verified)
