Solve for x if x^2-4ax-b+4a^2=0​

Answer:

x^{2}- 4a\\x- b+4a^{2}

x^{2} - 2.x. 2a + (2a)^{2} - b

(x-2a)^2 - ( \sqrt{b})^2

⇒ (x-2a-\sqrt{b}) (x-2a+\sqrt{b}) = 0

i.e x-2a-\sqrt{b} = 0

& x-2a +\sqrt{b} = 0

or x = 2a +\sqrt{b}  or x = 2a-\sqrt{b}
