Step-by-step explanation:

log(x-5) x (4)=log100

log(4x-20)=log100

4x-20=100

4x=100/20

4x=50

x=50/4

x=0.08

Here we go bud,

 log(x - 5)  +  log(4)  = 2 \\

Since we have a relation as,
 log(m) +   log(n)  =  log(mn)
Using this property,

 log(x - 5) (4) = 2 \\  log(4x - 20)  = 2

2 can also be written as:
 log \: 100 = 2

So we have,

 log(4x - 20)  =  log(100)  \\  \\ 4x - 20 = 100 \\  \\ 4x = 120 \\  \\ x =  \frac{120}{4}  = 30

Therefore, x has a values of 30.
